June (Jeonghwa) Hong


June is a dedicated professional with expertise in fabric sourcing and development within the apparel industry. Currently serving on the R&D team at a leading clothing export vendor company, June is in charge of the entire Active & Performance wear division. With a passion for sports, June completed the 10-kilometre course of the Seoul Half Marathon in 2023 and consistently participates in a women's amateur futsal team. Beyond work and sports, June engages in personal art projects, showcasing creativity and entrepreneurial spirit.

Volunteering

Making "Plogging" bags with a home sewing machine
[Oct 2021]  Bujeon 1-dong Community Center (Busan, South Korea)

"Plogging" is a combination of jogging with picking up litter. This activity was aimed to up-cycle signs illegally attached to street furniture and create bags for ploggers.

- Conduct fabric testing (via Intertek, Bureau Veritas) and analysis to ensure performance and quality standards are met
